I just realized that I've got like four different sports on the brain all at the same time.
Any thoughts on any of the following would be appreciated.
Manny PacMan -145 for win by KO, TKO, or DQ.
I saw something a couple of days ago about Cotto having a similar hitch in his punch that Hatton has. Between that and the interview I heard today with Roach, I feel like this doesn't go the distance. But boxing is actually below baseball in my knowledge base so . . .
Nuggets ML tonight
Only it's at -180, what do I tie it to to reduce the juice, Dallas ML? This is one of those payback spots, LA in a really bad B2B situation having to run with Phoenix last night. If I'm not wrong, in a somewhat similar situation last year, Denver beat this team for their worst loss of the season, by something like 30 points.
World Cup playoff matches go tomorrow
Hard for me not to like Portugal at -1 even though Ronaldo's out. Feel somewhat the same about Russia running it up vs. Slovenia. And I want to like the Ticos vs. Uruguay, only I don't know anything about Uruagay.
Last, am I the only one who thinks Stanford might just beat USC outright tomorrow?

I think Joe's net covers a wide area when it comes to gambling. Here's the grand slam of darts lines if you need them....
Grand Slam of Darts Darts - Sat 11/14 Match Spread Money Line Total Points More Sat 11/14 1051 Mervyn King (ENG) -356 11:30 AM 1052 Kirk Shepherd (ENG) +288 Sat 11/14 1055 Tony O'Shea (ENG) -214 12:10 PM 1056 Brian Woods (ENG) +180 Sat 11/14 1057 Colin Osborne (ENG) -147 12:30 PM 1058 Colin Lloyd (ENG) +126 Sat 11/14 1061 John Part (CAN) +100 01:10 PM 1062 Kevin Painter (ENG) -117 Sat 11/14 1063 Darryl Fitton (ENG) -160 01:30 PM 1064 Steve Maish (ENG) +136 Sat 11/14 1065 Mark Webster (WAL) +116 01:50 PM 1066 Vincent van der Voort (NED) -136

They're giving away money on Mervyn King, he's not going out in the first round.

Don't say it enough on the real site, but I can always appreciate a JoeP comment. Well played. Now if we could just settle this whole JP thing.

Cannot wait for the fight. I say that a few times a year because that is about all the big fights we get if that. I haven't been into the fight game like I used to be so haven't capped this. I will do small round wagers etc and score the rounds for money, bout it unless someone really convinces me.

JP the thing about Cotto you have to watch out for is that he's proven that he can be a really effective counter puncher as well. When he is aggressive he can have those hitches and moments where he can be caught. He has also beaten fighters with very similar styles as Pac. Pac has never fought anyone with the power of Cotto. I'm still not sure if I'm even going to wager on this fight and I can't remember the last time I have bet on a big PPV fight.

Yeah, phat, I may lay off as well. The only bet I like is that -145, there's no value on anything else. No one's going to say Cotto isn't a gamer, that guy could have been killed in that fight where he was pounded with those weighted gloves. So he'll stand in there, I'm sure, and any puncher always has that chance of just clipping his opponent just right.
But Pac Man's up there as far as talent goes, it also works from the 'boxing's fixed angle.' A win here pushes the Mayweather thing all the more. I don't know, I may lay off.
Right now I'm bitter about Boston losing outright tonight, at home, and killing my little three team ML parlay before the Nuggets even got on the court.
Speaking of randomness, here' s a question. Earlier tonight I was flipping channels and the Wizard of Oz was on. I only caught some of it, and I realize the thing was made in 1939 and it was a musical, but um, was everybody gay in that movie? Seriously, it was kind of amazing, and not that it matters, it was just really noticeable.
