I wouldn't put too much stock into Harrow not playing tomorrow night. I thought I'd never say this, but, Kentucky is a better team at both ends of the floor with Polson out there over Harrow. Polson took his lunch money during the blue-white scrimmage and we all know how well Polson Ice played in the opener versus Maryland on the big stage.

polson was great in Brooklyn, but his upside is limited while Harrow's ceiling is tons higher. Harrow's what you want, but hopefully he's got something treatable. Maybe mono?

Vitale reporting Harrow is out. Sounds like mono, like you said. Polson had been getting the better of Harrow all summer/fall according to Eric Lindsey, who watches every practice and recaps them online. And then I saw it first hand during the blue-white game when they matched up together - Polson dominated Harrow and had our reserves out to a substantial lead vs the starters at half before Cal put a stop to it and juggled the teams. He's been going up against the best point guards in the country for years now and is ready for his shot; he's earned it. I agree with you that Harrow has a higher ceiling years down the road in terms of a professional career. But at this stage in the game, Polson is much stronger physically, he knows Cal's offense better than anyone and is a much better defender than Harrow. He finishes strong through contact and bangs out the mid-range jumper when he gets space. I'm telling you guys, Polson is one of the most athletic white boys to come through here since Jeff Sheppard. Athletically, he and Harrow aren't that far apart. Unfortunately, Harrow is still playing soft like he did during his freshman season at NC State, which is why you hear about Cal getting in his ass during every practice as you see on All-Access. It's why Cal started working Goodwin at the point and he's already surpassed Harrow there. Harrow isn't vocal at all and doesn't communicate on the court. He's gotta learn to own that squeaky voice of his.
Nobody expected Harrellson to step up like he did when Kanter was ruled ineligible the year before last. I can see Polson doing the same if Harrow is out for an extended period of time. Look for a timeshare at point - Goodwin will probably start off there tomorrow night and Polson will come off the bench when the offense needs a boost, moving Archie back over to the two.

home coming for McCollum id say is a big deal, dude is beast some things that jumped out to me: The Lehigh Mountain Hawks are looking for their seventh straight win against an NEC foe dating back two seasons. Lehigh went a perfect 5-0 vs. the NEC a season ago (beating Fairleigh Dickinson, Quinnipiac, Saint Francis (Pa.), Bryant and Wagner). RMU is 13-31 (.295) all time in regular season tourneys and 6-10 (.375) under Toole last 6 seasons. RMU has played in 4 straight NEC title games, lead all mid majors w/ 117 victories over last 5 years, and return top 7 scorers that won a school record 26 games last season. lean Lehigh, but likely no play sorry this post bothered you so much GW, although random and irrelevent i thought it shows one team kicks the shit out of NEC lately and other team knows to kick it in gear when conference play starts, not known for winning games in reg season tourneys. Would like to thank you for making me look at Usc again, they are a bit deeper then i thought, think they played 11 players in first 8 mins of first game. think we are better off discussing actual games then discussing posts in the future, but thats just me, seen you do it to many others before, you 're a great capper and should stick to that imo.

USC now favored by 7.5, might have to take a look at LBST at that number.

USC now favored by 7.5, might have to take a look at LBST at that number. It's out of control, I made it 7 but to see BM open 0 maybe betonline wasn't the only clueless one. Play2-- I think I'm one of the least confrontational posters on this board and I was not bothered by anything. Good luck on lbsu, hope USC wins by 1 so you get your push
